Crown Prince meets with visiting US secretary of state, holds key talks

NEOM — Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, met here on Sunday with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

During the meeting, they reviewed friendship relations, areas of bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance them. They also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the efforts being undertaken to ensure regional stability.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan and US Ambassador to the Kingdom John Abizaid.

The US secretary of state arrived in the Kingdom on Sunday
as part of his tour of the Middle East before the new administration headed by President-elect Joe Biden takes charge in Washington.
