RIYADH —
The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs has instructed owners of all commercial centers and malls with an area covering 40,000 square meters or more to arrange exclusive hospitality center for children at a minimum space of 50 square meters.

With this directive, the ministry aims to further boost empowerment of women to take up jobs in commercial centers and not to have their children as an obstacle for entering the employment market.

It also supports workingwomen to maintain their employment as well as to increase the proportion of Saudi workingwomen in the private sector.
