Inaugural G20 meeting of culture ministers to seek support for global cultural economy

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture is scheduled to hold on Wednesday (Nov. 4) a joint meeting for G20 ministers of culture.

The meeting, considered the first-of-its-kind, will be chaired by Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan and attended by ministers of culture and heads of international organizations on the sidelines of the G20.

The meeting under the theme “The rise of the cultural economy: a new paradigm” seeks to support the role of the global cultural economy. — SG
