RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan reiterated on Monday that the Iranian regime’s practices have destabilized security and stability at the regional and international levels.

The minister made the remarks while addressing a virtual Gulf-German Dialogue Forum on Security and Cooperation which was organized by the GCC General Secretariat and the German Arab Friendship Association.

“We look forward, together with our partners in the international community, to taking into account the causes of tension in the region, which are represented by the Iranian regime’s violations of international treaties and conventions as well as its insistence on interfering in the internal affairs of the countries in the region,” Saudi Press Agency quoted him as saying.

Prince Faisal accused the Iranian regime of supporting extremist sectarian militias and threatening international shipping.

The minister’s remarks come at a time when the Saudi-led Arab Coalition has foiled several drone attacks, launched recently by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias, targeting the Kingdom.
