Moudhi Al-Jamie

First female executive of Saudi Telecom Co.

Moudhi Al-Jamie has been serving as general manager for the development of communications and information technology competencies at the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) since February 2019. She is the first Saudi woman to hold this position.

Al-Jamie is holder of master’s degree in information technology and electronic business from the University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom in 2010, and a doctorate in computer security in information security algorithms in 2016 from the Royal College of London. She also obtained Ethical Hacking Certification from the US Department of Defense.

Al-Jamie has held several key positions. She started her career as a lecturer at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Dammam in 2010 and became president of the university’s Entrepreneurship and Business Incubator Unit and assistant professor at the College of Business Administration since 2017, in addition to the position of assistant professor in cybersecurity.

Al-Jamie served earlier as member of the Board of Trustees for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Prize at the Saudi Cultural Attaché in London between 2015 and 2016. She worked as vice president of the Scientific Society of Saudi Students in the UK from 2013 to 2015. She has also been chosen as CEO of Super IT Service Company in 2016.
