KSrelief clinics provide treatment to displaced people in Hajjah

HAJJAH, Yemen — The Mobile Medical Clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued providing treatment services to the displaced people, in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen.

During the period from Oct. 8 to 14, 2020, the emergency department treated 5 beneficiaries, while the internal medicine clinic served 86 individuals.

The Health awareness department also received 100 beneficiaries, meanwhile the reproductive health clinic received 6 individuals and the center provided 288 individuals with medications.

KSrelief has continued implementing water supply and environmental sanitation project in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, it was reported Monday.

During the period from Oct. 8 to 14,2020, 344,000 liters of non-drinking water and 160,000 liters of potable water were pumped into tanks, benefiting 6,320 people, the report said.

Medical clinics affiliating to Riyadh-based KSrelief continued providing medical and treatment services to people in Hijjah, Yemen, a report released here today said.

According to the report, which covers the period from Oct. 8 to 14, 2020, as many as 13 beneficiaries visited the emergency clinic, 197 reported to the internal medicine clinic, 200 to enlightenment and education, eight to reproductive health, 93 to the nursing services, and five to the medical referrals.

Medications were prescribed and given to 218 patients while four activities to get rid of wastes carried out, the report added.

KSrelief, meanwhile, launched in Aden on Tuesday a fog spraying and health awareness campaign to curb dengue fever.

The campaign aims to eliminate dengue and malaria vectors and limit their spread, and a health awareness initiative will coincide with messages broadcasted to citizens and inform them to how to get rid of dengue and malaria vectors.

This campaign comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief aid, provided by the Kingdom, represented by the KSrelief, for Yemeni people. — SPA
