RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s generous support for Palestinian refugees has been commended by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

In a message addressed to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini extended thanks to Saudi Arabia for its continuous support to the UN agency, Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.

UNRWA chief highlighted the Kingdom’s vital role that has a great impact on Palestinian refugees, praising the decades-long strategic relationship between Saudi Arabia and the UNRWA and looking forward to stronger moreurther cooperation between the two sides.
