Saudi, Pakistan foreign ministers hold key talks

JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan held talks on Wednesday with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

They exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional situation and issues of common interest.

During the talks, the two foreign ministers agreed to enhance bilateral ties and continue close collaboration on all issues of mutual interest.

Saudi Prince Farhan called Pakistan as a close brotherly country.

For his part, the Pakistani foreign minister underlined that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have historic and deep-rooted fraternal ties which have stood the test of time.

Qureshi reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia. — SG
