Arab Coalition destroys Houthi missile targeting Saudi city of Najran

RIYADH — The Arab Coalition forces intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laded drone launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia targeting Saudi city of Najran, Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday quoting a statement from the coalition.

In the statement, the collation spokesman Col. Turki Al-Maliki said: “Joint Coalition Forces have intercepted and destroyed this afternoon (Tuesday) a bomb-laden drone launched systematically and deliberately by the terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian objects in (Najran).”

The spokesman added that the coalition will take and implement operational measures to protect civilians in accordance with international law. — SG
