Ibn Khaldun Fellowship holds webinar for Saudi women budding scientists

JEDDAH — Saudi women seeking to pursue research work in science and engineering from the top university of the world can make the most of a webinar being organized by Ibn Khaldun Fellowship (IBK) on Wednesday (Sept. 30).

IBK Fellowship supports Saudi women scientists and engineers to do research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, one of the world’s best universities based in the United States.

The webinar, which begins at 9 p.m. (KSA time), will host previous fellows who will share their experiences.

Aspiring candidates can also get all the details of how to apply for the fellowship.

The IBK Fellowship program has supported 36 Saudi women PhDs to visit MIT since its inception. To date, fellows have published more than 80 journal and conference publications based on their research at MIT with many more publications in progress.
