RIYADH — The president of Saudi Arabia’s Control and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous, held a meeting on Monday via a video call with the secretary-general of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), Jürgen Stock.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the Saudi anti-corruption authority chief thanked the INTERPOL chief for accepting the Kingdom's invitation to participate in the first anti-corruption ministerial meeting of the G20, which will be held on the Oct. 22 in order to promote integrity and unite all efforts by the G20 countries.

A number of issues of common interest were discussed during the meeting.

The Nazha president stated in the meeting that the Saudi government led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman were keen for the G20 to adopt some pioneering initiatives in fighting corruption.

For his part, the INTERPOL chief praised Saudi Arabia’s prominent role in fighting corruption and expressed his aspiration for more cooperation in promoting integrity.
