KSrelief continues implementing services in different Yemen governorates

HAJJAH — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued implementing water supply and environmental sanitation project in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen.

During the period from Sept. 10 to 16 S, 2020, 456,000 liters of non-drinking water and 304,000 liters of drinking water were pumped into the tanks, benefiting 6,320 individuals.

The Al-Jada Health Center continued providing treatment services to beneficiaries in Hajjah governorate, Yemen, with the support of KSrelief.

During the period from Sept. 10 to 16, 2020, the clinics and departments of Al-Jada Health Center treated 3,741 beneficiaries.

The laboratory department treated 548 people and the health center provided 1,620 individuals with medications.

Meanwhile, the Emergency Nutritional Medical Clinics of KSrelief continued providing treatment services in Hodeidah governorate of Yemen in partnership with Taybah Foundation for Development.

The clinics provided relief to 4,752 beneficiaries with their services until now. The laboratory department also received 1,039 people and the clinics provided 3,234 individuals with medications.

In Hijja, mobile clinics affiliated to Riyadh-based KSrelief continued providing medical services in the directorate of Abbs, province of Hijja, Yemen.

Twelve patients reported to the emergency clinic, 201 to the internal medicine department, 160 to awareness and education clinic, six to the procreation, 96 to the nursing services, and five to medical referral department during the period from Sept. 10 to 16, 2020.

Moreover, medications were prescribed to 218 beneficiaries and seven activities implemented to get rid from wastes.

KSrelief distributes 682

food baskets in Lebanon


In Beirut, KSrelief distributed on Friday, in cooperation with Al-Ghina Charitable Association, 682 food baskets to the Syrian and Palestinian refugees as well as the most needy Lebanese families, in a number of Lebanese governorates, benefiting 3,410 people.

This comes within the framework of a project to secure and distribute food baskets in Lebanon for the year 1442 AH. — SPA
