Merkel lauds Saudi Arabia’s G20 efforts

NEOM — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on Wednesday made a phone call to German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

During the call, they discussed the consolidated efforts within the meetings of the G20 countries presided over by Saudi Arabia this year to overcome the effects of COVID-19 pandemic and return to normal life.

For her part, Angela Merkel valued the Kingdom's efforts in preparing and managing the G20, hoping for continued international solidarity to face the effects of the pandemic.
