KSrelief distributes food baskets, health services in Hajjah Governorate

HAJJAH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief, distributed on Saturday 2,442 food baskets for displaced and affected people in a number of provinces of Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 14,652 individuals.

This comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief assistance being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Center, for the Yemeni people.

Also the Emergency Center for Epidemic Control has continued to provide treatment services to beneficiaries in Hajjah Governorate with the support of KSrelief and in cooperation with Taybah Foundation for Development.

During August 2020, the registration and screening department treated 1,924 patients, while the observation department received 532 patients. The admitting clinic also saw 114 patients; meanwhile, the epidemiological unit treated 1,924 patients.

Health awareness department also received 1,766 beneficiaries, while the patient's referral department served 17 patients and 2,148 patients were provided with medications.

In addition, the mobile medical clinics of KSrelief in Hajjah governorate, Yemen, continued providing treatment services, in partnership with Taybah Foundation for Development.

During August 2020, the clinics and departments servedmore than 1,500 beneficiaries, with various health conditions, providing them with the necessary health care.

Meanwhile, Al-Jada Health Center continued providing treatment services to the beneficiaries in Hajjah Governorate with the support KSrelief and in partnership with Taybah Foundation for Development.

During August 2020, the clinics and departments of Al-Jada Health Center treated more than 8,900 beneficiaries. The laboratory department also served 2,024 people and the health center provided 6,995 individuals with medications.

In the Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen, KSrelief Emergency Nutritional Medical Clinics continued providing treatment services in partnership with Taybah Foundation for Development.

During August 2020, the total number of the beneficiaries was more than 16,800 patients, with various medical conditions, in different clinics. The laboratory department also served 4,219 people and 13,300 individuals were provided with medications.

In Al-Khawkhah, Yemen, KSrelief continued the implementation of the water and environmental sanitation project in Al-Khawkhah District, in Hodeidah Governorate.

During the period from Aug. 1 to 31, 2020, as much as 1,271,000 liters of drinking water and 1,829,000 liters of non-drinking water, were pumped into tanks.

This comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for the Yemeni people to improve their living conditions, during the current humanitarian crisis. — SPA
