GAMI, TVTC sign deal to develop human capital in military industries sector

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).

The MoU aims to support human capabilities in military industries sector and to contribute to advancing the development of the sector through the joint cooperation in line with TVTC’s outputs and programs in an effort to enhance the sector’s capabilities to contribute to achieving the goals of localizing more than 50 percent of the Saudi Arabia’s military spending by 2030.

It also aims to support the development of human capital in the military industries sector in Saudi Arabia at several levels, including aligning the outputs and programs of TVTC with the strategic need of the military industries sector, allocating training programs in line with the needs of the military industries sector in addition to establishing training institutes that work with the model of strategic partnerships to train and qualify national cadres in technical and vocational fields.
