KSrelief provides emergency food aid to Beirut blast victims’ families

BEIRUT — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provided on Sunday emergency food assistance to families of victims of Beirut's port explosion, which resulted in great human and material losses.

The assistance included distributing food baskets, bread and cartons of dates and milk, benefiting 500 families. This comes within the framework of the urgent Saudi assistance being provided to victims of Beirut's port explosion.

Meanwhile, the muftis of the Lebanese regions praised the urgent assistance provided by Saudi Arabia to help the Lebanese people, while implementing the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.

In statements to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), they reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's pioneering role in humanitarian, relief and development work, as it is always in the forefront to help the Arab and Islamic countries as well as the whole world.

They expressed thanks and appreciation to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, for the urgent assistance provided by the Kingdom to Lebanon. — SPA
