Seven expats held for running liquor distillery

Seven expatriates have been arrested here for allegedly running a liquor distillery. Authorities have referred all those arrested to the Public Prosecution for further action, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) cited the Assistant Media spokesman for the Eastern Province Police Captain Muhammad Al-Deraihim as stating.

The arrested include four Indian men, two women from Madagascar and a woman from Pakistan.

Security authorities also seized 28 liquor barrels each with a capacity of 220 liters, one barrel with a 30 liter capacity, and 96 bottles of liquor.
