MAKKAH —The Makkah Mayoralty, represented by the Services Agency, is monitoring pre-prepared meals provided to pilgrims at the holy sites.

The General Department for Environmental Health confirmed that it is proceeding with the mission of collecting samples from all meals provided to the pilgrims. Daily analysis and examinations are being carried out at the Food Safety Laboratory to ensure the safety of food from spoilage and poisoning.

The mayoralty strives, with the participation of all its sectors, to provide all services to the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque. It mobilizes health officials who are qualified to monitor the safety of meals as well as to upgrade all the services provided to them at the holy sites.
