BISHA/NAJRAN —
Intensive care unit (ICU) bed capacity in Bisha and Najran hospitals has been increased significantly, the Ministry of Health announced on Monday.

In Bisha, the capacity has been increased by 110 percent. There was also an increase of 75 percent in Najran, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the ministry as saying.

The increase in the ICU bed capacities is part of the efforts to upgrade and improve health services in the Kingdom to meet the health needs of citizens and residents.

This step comes as a continuation of the ministry’s announcement to add around 3,000 ICU beds within 90 days in various hospitals in all regions of the Kingdom to provide the highest level of medical care to citizens and residents.
