Crown Prince receives more calls checking on King Salman’s health

RIYADH — Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, received a number of calls from leaders of the neighboring and Muslim countries, checking on Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman’s health.

Muhammad Bin Salman received phone calls from Bahraini King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Speaker of Iraqi Council of Representatives Mohamed Al-Halbousi and Chief of Pakistani Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa.

They were reassured about King Salman’s health by the Crown Prince who thanked them for their kind gestures.

King Salman on Thursday underwent successful laparoscopic surgery to have his gallbladder removed at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh where he is recovering.
