AMMAN — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) delivered 319 tons of dates to the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) to be distributed to the needy in Jordan.

Director of the KSrelief branch in Jordan, Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Hazeem, said this gift of dates will cover the most needy refugees across Jordan's regions, benefiting about 126,000 Jordanians and 110,000 Syrian refugees in Jordan, and a total of 47,000 families through three stages until the end of 2020.

For her part, WFP Country Director and Representative in Jordan, Sarah Gibson, extended her sincere thanks to Saudi Arabia for its humanitarian efforts and the great role being played by KSrelief in supporting the WFP to meet the food needs of the most vulnerable groups in Jordan.
