Crown Prince receives phone call from US president

RIYADH — Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, on Thursday received on Thursday a phone call from President of the United States Donald Trump.

During the phone conversation, the US president was reassured of the health of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. President Trump wished King Salman a speedy recovery following successful gallbladder surgery.

For his part, Crown Prince thanked the US president for his noble gesture.

Issues of common interest between the two countries and the latest developments at the regional and international levels were also discussed, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
