RIYADH — The WikiDowen Project of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) has continued to develop Wikipedia groups in Saudi educational institutions with the aim of providing models that motivate others to write in the free encyclopedia "Wikipedia" in order to enrich the Arabic content in the largest free information documentary arena on the Internet.

The WikiDowen Project recently concluded a collaborative program with King Khalid University, represented by the Department of Languages and Translation. This program included 60 volunteer students who wrote more than 100 articles; translated from English into Arabic.

The WikiDowen Project also gave students a special training on translation requirements in the World Encyclopedia.
