RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman held telephone talks on Friday with Egypt’s Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Muhammad Zaki, who is also the commander in chief of the armed forces.

During the call, they discussed bilateral relations, especially on defense and military affairs and the need to boost cooperation to ensure security in the region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Prince Khalid and Lt. Gen. Zaki stressed the keenness of both countries to enhance stability and tackle all kinds of terrorism.

They reaffirmed the position of both countries in totally rejecting all forms of prejudice that threaten the security and stability of the region.
