ARAR — Prince Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Sultan, governor of the Northern Borders Region, has received a copy of the book "The Tapline and its Development Role in the Northern Borders Region."

The governor received the copy during a reception Thursday at his office from the authors — the head of the literary club in the region Majid AlMutlaq and Matar AlAnzi.

Prince Faisal indicated that the book is a documentation of an important stage in the history of the region, and to learn about the history of the oil industry in the Kingdom and the most important challenges it has faced.

He stressed the book also documents the development plans accompanying the Tapline project in developing the governorates of the Northern Borders Region and the resulting achievements that reflected on the region's growth and prosperity. — SPA
