Saudi Gazette report

MANAMA — Schools in Bahrain will announce exam results online and send certificates to students on their email accounts as part of the country’s efforts to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Announcing the move on Tuesday, Bahrain’s Education Minister Dr. Majid Bin Ali Al-Nuaimi said that the decision not to distribute paper results and certificates, as usual, is in line with the Education Ministry’s keenness to implement the coronavirus precautionary measures taken by the kingdom, especially social distancing, as well as its efforts to transform its services into electronic ones.

The minister said that the exam results will be available on the educational portal, edunet.bh, for all school levels, adding that the third intermediate and secondary school students will be able to receive their certificates via their Microsoft365 accounts.

The graduation and good conduct certificates will also be emailed to the Secondary Education graduates, he added.

In this context, Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Information at the Ministry of Education, Nawal Al-Khater, said that students who may not be able to access the service should contact the Technical Support on 17278777 during the official working hours.

Students may also send their queries regarding their Microsoft365 accounts through visiting https://yalla365.net/yalla-form or emailing their requests to o365support@moe.bh, she said.

She added that within the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the Information and e-Government Authority (iGA), the results of the third intermediate and secondary school students will be available on the national portal, Bahrain.bh, or through downloading the results from the iGA applications bahrain.bh/apps.
