Al-Jazeera gets rid of its propagandists

Saudi Gazette report

JEDDAH —
Al-Jazeera satellite channel, which the Qatari regime unabashedly uses to promote its lies and falsehoods against the Arab governments, has recently got rid of more than 50 of its propagandists — writers, correspondents and technicians — from its news, electronic and feature sections. The ouster of these propagandists is a sort of punishment after they were exposed before the Arab audience, reliable sources told Okaz/Saudi Gazette on Tuesday.

The sources said that the channel, which is inspired by Muslim Brotherhood editorial policy, will continue to sack other journalists and technicians of Arab nationalities, including anchors during the coming period.

The channel, the sources said, will employ others with certain specifications: They should be able to master the lies and fabrications on which the newsroom of the satellite channel is based. Furthermore, the new recruits will be required to forcefully promote the anti-Arab agenda of the Qatari regime, which is backed by members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood who have fled their home countries and are now using Doha as their headquarters to launch their dark, malicious ideas to destabilize the security and stability of the Arab countries.

The terminated employees, sources said, are Syrians, Egyptians, Algerians, Jordanians, Palestinians and Tunisians. Technicians who got the axe include Palestinians, Lebanese, Sudanese, Egyptians and Moroccans. Five staffers — all Egyptians — of Al-Jazeera Mubasher and six Al-Jazeera website employees from Egypt, Sudan, Jordan and Algeriain were also booted out. The contracts of about 10 others from Arab countries working in Al-Jazeera Documentary satellite channel were also terminated, sources said.
