Saudi Foreign Minister holds talks with his counterparts from key Asian countries

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Faisal Bin Farhan held telephone talks on Monday with his counterparts from key Asian countries namely India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Malaysia.

In his talks with other foreign ministers, Prince Faisal discussed with them bilateral relations and reviewed regional and international developments of mutual concern.

Taking to Twitter, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said that their talks focused on bilateral trade in view of the coronavirus pandemic and they also discussed the health needs of the two countries in the face of the pandemic.

The Indian minister said that he expressed his gratitude toward the Saudi authorities for taking good care of the Indian expatriates in the Kingdom during the crisis.
