KSrelief delivers 50 tons of dates to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered Thursday 50 tons of dates to the Republic of Tajikistan as a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On behalf of KSrelief, Saudi Ambassador to Tajikistan Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Al-Badi delivered the gift at the Saudi Embassy in Dushanbe to the representative of Tajik government, Abdul Kareem Rahimov.

This gift comes within humanitarian and relief programs that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provides to all countries to help needy families around the world.

Meanwhile, the KSrelief clinics have continued to provide medical services to the Syrian refugees in the Zaatari camp in Jordan. The total number of the beneficiaries reached yesterday 1,322 patients with various medical conditions in different clinics.

In Hodeidah, the emergency nutritional medical clinics of KSrelief continued providing treatment services in partnership with Taibah Development Foundation. The total number of the beneficiaries reached, during the period of June 4-10, 5,406 patients, with various medical conditions in different clinics.

Meanwhile, KSrelief continued the implementation of the water supply and environmental sanitation project in a number of directorates in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen.

During the period from June 4 to 10, about 504,000 liters of non-drinking water were pumped into the tanks and 360,000 liters of drinking water were also pumped into the tanks.— SPA
