Pakistani envoy discusses welfare steps for the needy

JEDDAH — A welfare team of Majlis-e-Pakistan Saudi Arabia, led by Rana Rauf, called on the Ambassador Raja Ali Ejaz in Riyadh and discussed issues pertaining to welfare assistance to Pakistani community, especially in transportation of deceased Pakistanis back home and delivery of food ration to the deprived Pakistanis suffering in the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Rauf appreciated the efforts and welfare services provided by the embassy, reports reaching here said on Wednesday.

The ambassador assured the welfare team of the embassy's continued support and cooperation. He also lauded the efforts of the welfare team in raising awareness against the disease with special focus on prevention techniques.
