King Salman okays several Prophet’s Mosque projects

MADINAH —
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has approved a number of development projects at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.

The King issued orders to start projects for the development and operational and technical modernization of the sound system, light current systems and electromechanical systems at the Prophet’s Mosque and its facilities,” according to a statement issued by the emirate of the Madinah region.

In the statement posted on its Twitter account, the emirate added that work on these projects will begin “in accordance with the highly advanced, finest, and best global technologies.”
