Prince Abdulaziz inaugurates Maidan application

RIYADH — Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif inaugurated here Sunday, via a virtual network, the Maidan application, which was developed in technical partnership among the Public Security, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control and the National Information Center.

It was developed within the framework of the security strategy for digital transformation to raise the level of performance of field security or direct information access for the field security teams to the security databases in the applicable systems in the Interior Ministry such as the Amn system for public security, and the Madar system of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control.

The Minister of Interior directed to approve the Maidan application to be a unified security platform for all field security works in various sectors of the Ministry in order to control the violations and organize procedures of handing the cases to the competent authorities in the security sectors electronically. — SPA
