RIYADH — Employees of private sector companies can resume duties in their offices, the Ministry of Human Resources said in a statement on Wednesday carried by Saudi Press Agency.

In the statement, the ministry said it has revoked its previous directive to allow only limited number of staff to visit their workplaces.

“All private sector enterprises can start working while following the precautionary and preventive measures announced by the Ministry of Health and supervising authorities,” the statement said.

“The firms must equip their office premises with relevant safeguards to guarantee smooth resumption of duties of employees, giving them a safe working environment,” the statement added.

The ministry’s move follows Saudi Arabia's announcement to ease the coronavirus restrictions in a phased manner.
