KSrelief carries out water supply projects in Yemen

HAJJAH/ HODEIDA, Yemen — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continued implementing water and environmental sanitation project that preserves the lives of families in Yemeni governorates of Hodeida and Hajjah.

During the period from May 14-20, 2020, 337,000 liters of drinking water were pumped into the tanks and 393,000 liters of non-drinking water were pumped into the tanks in Al-Khawkhah District, Hodeida Governorate

Meanwhile, the KSrelief continued the implementation of water supply and environmental sanitation project in a number of directorates in the Yemeni Hajjah governorate.

During the period from May May 14-20, 2020, about 202,000 liters of used water were pumped into the tanks and 101,000 liters of clean water were also pumped into the tanks, benefiting 5600 people.


This comes as part the humanitarian and relief projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to the Yemeni people, to improve their living conditions due to the current humanitarian crisis.
