22 KSrelief trucks head for Yemeni governorates

RIYADH — As many as 22 relief trucks affiliated to King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) have crossed Al-Wadiah border point during this week carrying 105 tons of medical supplies, 2,200 food baskets weighing 265 tons, shelter materials containing 100 tents, 200 rugs and 600 blankets and 12,500 cartons of dates weighing 100 tons.

The aid will be distributed in Hajjah, Taiz, Socotra, Marib, Shabwah and Lahij, in Yemen. Meanwhile, distributed on Tuesday 2,140 food baskets weighing 158 tons in Shabwah Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 2140 needy families.

As part of its humanitarian and relief projects, KSrelief has been handing out food baskets to beneficiaries in Yemen and other countries on a daily basis.

In another development, KSrelief distributed 4,185 cartons of dates to the displaced and the poorest families in the city of Marib, Marib Governorate, benefiting 4,185 families. — SPA
