RIYADH —
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) affirmed on Sunday that there was no truth in what was being circulated regarding the move to halt delivery of customer requests by the postal services companies during the last ten days of Ramadan.

The ministry stressed the need for postal service providers to be transparent and clear about any of their future scheduled commitments so as to protect the rights of customers.

Through its Twitter account, the ministry called on the public to verify truthfulness of information from the official Twitter account of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, the telecom regulatory authority, @CITC_SA.
