DAMMAM — As part of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the Eastern Province municipality, along with some other relevant authorities, has carried out hundreds of field inspection tours and detected scores of violations.

The violations include 16 for overcrowding at malls, three for overcrowding at workers’ residences, and 31 violations at a number of markets and malls for failing to enforce health measures, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. In terms of cleanliness, 7,388 ton of garbage were removed, with the help of 1,090 people and 1,868 machines and other cleaning equipment.
