Customs clear over SR2b worth of goods in two days

RIYADH –
Saudi Customs have cleared over 7,700 consignments worth more than SR2 billion in two days (March 15-16) , Saudi Press Agency cited the Saudi Customs as stating on Saturday.

In a joint statement with the General Authority for Ports, the Saudi Customs announced that they are working round-the-clock to receive container ships and goods, in accordance with health safety requirements and preventive measures applied by the Kingdom to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

They confirmed that they have taken all necessary precautions to sterilize port and customs facilities and provide the working staff with all preventive protection means, to facilitate the flow of goods and services for various cities of the Kingdom.
