Kuwait announces 11 new cases of coronavirus, 4 more recoveries

KUWAIT CITY — Kuwait reported 11 new cases of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country, bringing the total number of the confirmed infections to 159, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Friday citing the Health Ministry.

The ministry also announced that four more patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 22.

In a statement to KUNA, Kuwait’s health minister said the all the four recovered cases have been shifted to recuperation ward of a hospital specialized in treating the coronavirus after analyzes and laboratory X-ray tests proved that they were completely cured from the virus.

He also said all the recovered cases are Kuwaiti nationals .
