Makkah emir receives Pakistan’s CG

JEDDAH —
Emir of Makkah Prince Khaled Bin Faisal received Khalid Majid, consul general of Pakistan, in his office on Monday.

The consul general expressed his gratitude for all the facilities extended to the Pakistani mission as well to the Pakistani community in the Kingdom.

Prince Khaled welcomed the consul general and recalled his fond memories of his visit to Pakistan long ago. He acknowledged the very cordial and brotherly relations between the two countries which permeate from the leadership to the common people.

Issues related to the Pakistani community and upcoming Haj arrangements also came up for discussion. The consul general extended an invitation to Prince Khaled to visit Pakistan as per his earliest convenience, which was accepted.

Arshad Munir, consular (press), told Saudi Gazette that Khalid Majid presented a painting of Islamabad’s Faisal Mosque, named after King Faisal, to the emir.
