Saudi, US passports valid up to six months after expiry date

JEDDAH —
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has directed all the aviation companies and private airlines operating in the Kingdom that the passports of Saudi and US citizens are to be considered valid for a period of six months after their expiry date.

Okaz/Saudi Gazette learned from well informed sources that this directive came in line following the signing of an agreement between the Kingdom and the United States of America.

According to the agreement, any Saudi or US citizen, who have valid passports are allowed to enter the other country until the last day of the validity of their passports.

GACA said in the statement that all the airlines shall take note of the agreement signed between the two countries in this regard and start implementing them.
