RIYADH – Working Saudi women now enjoy peace of mind about their children while they are out in the labor market as childcare centers and nurseries are available for them all over the Kingdom.

These childcare homes are supported by the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf). Hence, Saudi women working in the private sector can benefit from this initiative and register their kids in it, a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report said Tuesday.

According to women in several economic sectors, one of the obstacles to work and excelling in it, is the lack of nurseries and childcare homes in a distinctive environment encouraging them to keep their children in these facilities.

But now over 206 centers have been established to take care of their kids. The centers are covered by the Program for Supporting Hospitality for Children (Qurrah) in different regions. Meanwhile, some economic entities have also provided childcare homes for the children of their women employees.

Women wishing to register their children in childcare homes and avail of the financial support being provided by the program can do so via the link https://qurrah.sa.

The Hadaf contributes to covering part of the child hospitality costs as follows:

In the first year, it contributes a maximum of SR800 per child. In the second year, it will contribute a maximum of SR600 per child. In the third year, the maximum amount the fund will contribute per child will be SR500 and in the fourth year it will be SR400.

Qurrah Program aims to support the homes providing childcare for working Saudi women, which will in turn increase the number of women working in the private sector.
