RIYADH — To provide members with more choice and control, Netflix has launched a new and convenient way for members to pay for their subscriptions.

Netflix gift cards work as a prepaid voucher which entitles a member to stream Netflix to the value loaded on the card, customizable to members’ preferred streaming option.

Instantly redeemable, members in Saudi Arabia have the option to choose from a range of values from SR100, SR250 or between SR100 - SR1000 and will also be able to add multiple gift cards to one account. With Netflix subscriptions starting at just SR29 per month, the value of the card will be instantly applied to the chosen account towards the user’s selected plan.

Available now in both digital and physical card formats across leading retailers including Jarir, Extra, Al Ghanim and Virgin Megastore in Saudi Arabia and Carrefour, Virgin Megastore, Lulu Hypermarket and Sharaf DG in the UAE, the gift cards will allow members to top up their Netflix subscriptions, making the best of entertainment more accessible than ever before.

“Our features put members first - from no advertising and full-season releases for several of our originals, to mobile downloads, no-hassle cancellations, and parental controls, we’re aware of people’s desire for greater choice and flexibility. The gift card is a natural extension of this approach to curate a flexible offering for our members and ultimately enable greater payment integration, a key priority for us in the region,” a Netflix spokesperson said.

From TV series, documentaries and feature films, Netflix gift cards give viewers an easy way to discover content from across a wide variety of genres and languages, offering subscribers access to a world of stories from across the globe.
