RIYADH — The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has launched the National Contact Center (Amer) service to answer queries with regard to the mechanism for meeting the expat fee of factory workers by the state.

The industrial firms, which have a license from the ministry, can make their queries through the Amer No. 199099.

The launch of the Amer service is in line with the Council of Ministers’ decision, dated Sept. 24, under which the government will bear the expense of expat fee for industrial workers for a period of five years.

The decision contributes to the development of the industrial sector and encourages it to participate in developing and diversifying the national economy in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
