Hamzulla, Sameer, Maaz and Kannan hit tons in Western Union T20

RIYADH — Hamza, Sameer, Maaz and Kannan scored impressive centuries in on-going Western Union T20 tournament. Western Union T20 is being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and is sponsored by Western Union Money Transfer.

Huraymala League: Nizamabad knocked down AR Sports Blue by 7 wickets. AR Sports scored 202 for 6 wickets. Hamzullah played an excellent inning of 100 while Aasif Sheikh scored 51. Sameer took 3 and Sami got 2 wickets. Nizamabad got the target in 16 overs. Mujahid slammed 90 and Sami smashed 50. Ghafoor picked up 2 wickets.

KFSH Green lost to Kashmir Strikers by 7 wickets. KFSH collected 183 for 5 wickets. Suhail scored 69 and Azeem hammered 52. Rehan grabbed 2 wickets. Kashmir achieved the target in 18.4 overs. Sameer Rather played a match-winning knock of 102 and was assisted by Saqib with 23. Ali took 2 wickets.

AR Sports thumped Kohsar Blues by 8 wickets. Kohsar accumulated 150 for 9. Shahbaz mustered 32. Hameed, Hamza and Lala bagged 2 wickets each. AR Sports reached the target in just 9.3 overs. Asim smashed 85 and Hamza notched 54.

Nizamabad triumphed over Riyadh Zalmi. Zalmi scored 191/6. Imran smacked 53, Rizwan nicked 33. Mobeen snared 3, Noman got 2 wickets. Nizamabad got the target in 16.3 overs. Sami slammed 43 and Noman added 31. Tousif picked up 4 wickets.

Deer beat Pak Riderz by 6 wickets. Riderz piled up 230 for 7 wickets. Saim and Ali hammered 61 runs each. Maaz and Khalil took 3 wickets each. In reply, Maaz’s stylish knock of 102 took Deer to victory in 19.3 overs. Ayaz scored 58 while Bilal bagged 2 wickets.

Hayer League: Ar Riyadh Zalmi defeated Kashmir Falcons by 7 wickets. Falcons were all out for 157 in 17.4 overs. Wajid topscored with 54. Yasir, Arif, Moin and Ashiq took 2 wickets each. In reply, Captain Samiullah Najar led the chase with unbeaten 92 off 62 balls to see Zalmi home in 17.1 overs.

Challengers XI won against PTI Tigers by 7 wickets. PTI Tigers posted a below par 135. Rohullah hit 33. Mudassir and Soyab picked up 4 wickets hauls. In reply, Challengers got target in 16.3 overs thanks to brilliant batting from Haroon 65 and Soyab 55. Arif clinched 2 wickets.

Indian Strikers humbled Bengal Tigers by 6 wickets. Tigers added 209/7. Mithun and Zamal scored 35 and 33 runs respectively. Prasanth and Fenil shared 3 wickets each. Strikers chased down the target in 17.1 overs led by Kannan’s astounding 119.

In another match Indians lost to King Lions by 13 runs. Lions collected 218 for 5 wickets. Jewel banged 92 and Jahidul scored 44. Prasanth took 2 wickets. Indian Strikers managed 205 runs in reply. Rafeek slogged 86 and Prasanth belted 35. Tamzid was the pick of the bowlers who claimed 4 wickets while Tusar picked up 2 wickets.

Abaseen got better of Kashmir XI by 20 runs. Abaseen amassed 229 for 5 wickets. Aftab whacked 61 and Samiullah scored 46. Alamgir claimed 2 wickets. Kashmir fought hard but managed 209 runs in reply. Alamgir topscored with 60 and Shafat pushed 29. Fazal clinched 3 wickets.

TBCC thrashed Royce White Star by 72 runs. TBCC accumulated massive 253 for the loss of 3 wickets. Faisal played an excellent inning of 83 and Asif slammed 75. Royce fumbled to just 181 runs in reply. Noman hit 39 and Harmain did 34. Salam picked up 3 and Asif claimed 2 wickets.

Green Bangla registered a win over Abaseen by 40 runs. Bangla collated 226 losing 4 wickets. Shumon hit 67 and Zakir scored 61. Rahmat snared 2 wickets. Abaseen fumbled to 186 runs in reply. Aftab showed fight with his 49 while Rahmat did 42. Anower and Bappi shared 3 wickets each while Shumon got 2 wickets.
