State to bear expat fees for factory workers

TAIF – A decision has been issued according to which the state will bear the expatriate fees in industrial installations, holding industrial licenses, for a period of five years, informed sources told Okaz.

In this connection, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources will lay down the required criteria for this, in coordination with the ministries of finance and labor and social development.

According to the sources, this decision is part of the short-term urgent solutions to stimulate industrial investments such that they achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 as well as making the best use of the potentials and laying down the mechanisms to increase the volume of investments and the ensuing exports.
