JEDDAH — Indian Ambassador Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, accompanied by Consul General Md. Noor Rahman Sheikh, visited the Okaz Organization for Press and Publication on Monday and were taken on a tour of the media house.

Dr. Ausaf met with Okaz Editor in Chief and General Supervisor of the Saudi Gazette Editorial Jameel Altheyabi at his office and discussed a wide range of subjects. Members of the Okaz and Saudi Gazette editorial attended the meeting.

The Indian envoy highlighted the strategic relations between and India and Saudi Arabia and said, “The relations are on an upward curve.”

Dr. Ausaf recollected with nostalgia his days in Jeddah in the nineties when he handled media and his association with Saudi Gazette.

“I have come back to a place that I often visited and have fond memories of meeting friends and the supplements we used to prepare with Okaz and Saudi Gazette on our Republic and Independence Days.” — SG
