RIYADH – More than 20,000 Saudi youth have benefited from the SNAD Muhammad Bin Salman program, with a disbursement of more than SR395 million. The percentage of beneficiaries of the program has so far exceeded 80. The beneficiaries include young Saudis from all regions of the Kingdom, and Makkah region tops in the number of beneficiaries while Riyadh region comes next to Makkah, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, had directed the launching of ‘SNAD Muhammad Bin Salman’ program as part of his efforts to develop the fields of non-profit social initiatives aimed at empowering Saudi men and women to have a decent and stable life. In its first phase, the program launched the Marriage SNAD initiative, which is aimed at achieving the principles of family stability and encourage young people to marry so as to enable them to build their families and thus strengthen social stability and happiness. The program aims at address the needs of different segments of Saudi society as well as developing frameworks and rules for the Crown Prince’s philanthropic initiatives to benefit Saudi society.

The program is keen to develop awareness through its various initiatives, especially knowledge content as part of the application procedures. Most applicants have benefited from the financial awareness course, which is an essential component of the application. It is noteworthy that the process of verification and conformity of data is under way for those who have already registered.
