King OKs ‘Seha’ Platform for sick leave of govt staff

RIYADH —
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has approved "Seha" Platform for issuing sick leave to state's employees and linking it electronically with the Ministry of Civil Service. This ministry is tasked with approving sick leave issued from the platform of state employees, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Sunday.

The King also approved the use of the WHO's Self-Assessment Tool for Infection prevention and control (IPC) in health facilities on oral hygiene for health practitioners according to international standards.

Secretary General of the Saudi Health Council, Dr. Nahar Bin Mazzaki Al-Azmi expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the approval of these decisions which will enhance the quality of healthcare for citizens and residents.

He also praised the constant care by the wise leadership in organizing and developing health services in the Kingdom.
