EKHAA honors Princess Doaa as first ambassador for orphans

JEDDAH —
EKHAA recently honored Princess Doaa Bint Mohammed as the first orphan’s ambassador; she is the children and youth ambassador from United States. This honoring was during her visit in order to introduce their charitable project which is to build 36 ideal villas in Jeddah for the orphans. This project will provide an opportunity to provide ideal housing to the orphans.

This honor comes within the strategy of EKHAA to cooperate and build strategic partnerships with effective and influential leaders who are serving and developing communities. This cooperation and partnership is to provide full services for sponsoring EKHAA project for the orphans. It also builds sustainability program in which they are trying to provide single community homes for the orphans.

Through this stability program of EKHAA, it will provide a single home to eight children with caretakers. They will help grow and nurture children with good manners and will give them feelings of their own home, the program will help orphans get trainings, basic education, good lifestyle, fulfilling their social needs and other facilities until they grow up and serve their nation and religion.

Princess Doaa has confirmed that a number of social housing plans have been prepared as part of the social welfare for orphans with the aim to give them a chance to experience being in a natural family setting.

She stressed the need to implement sustainability in the work of charitable societies, especially the care of orphans, which is one of the vital sections of Vision 2030, through the activation of programs and the development of sources of income through the presence of investment endowments and returns to these associations and be a source and a companion to ensure sustainability.

Princess Doaa Bint Mohammed also praised the efforts exerted by Minister of Labor and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi to carry out programs that reflect the importance of applying the 2030 Vision to community work and the existence of innovative programs that support orphans and realize their hopes and aspirations.

During the program, Abdullah Al-Zahrani, director of EKHAA for the Care of Orphans, said the foundation was established as a supplement to care for orphans and enable them after the end of their stay in the role.

This charitable program is supervised by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development with community participation to provide care and attention to the basic requirements for stability and decent living.

At the conclusion of the visit, Princess Doaa expressed her happiness with this beautiful and exemplary charitable program for the housing of orphans. She announced her initiative to adopt 15 orphans to improve their skills and innovations at the Friends Zine Academy for free.

Princess Doaa is one of the leading pioneers in community, charitable and humanitarian work and an influential figure in the Arab World, the Ambassador of Peace for Children and Young People of the United Nations and the Ambassador of Peace and Human Rights and the Goodwill Ambassador for Humanitarian Action and Sustainable Development from the Arab Dream Foundation for Humanitarian Action and Sustainable Development, owner and founder of the Friends Zone Academy. She has community roles in various fields including support for pediatric cancer patients, where she is the head of planning and development consultants at the Association Support and support orphans and the elderly as well as women and children, support community relations for sustainable development and support community and charitable initiatives.
